Cosette Grider Art

Welcome

I’m so glad you’re here.

My work is rooted in a deep love for storytelling, womanhood, and the quiet moments that invite us to soften, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves. I’m inspired by iconic women, vintage nostalgia, and the beauty found in growth, pleasure, and personal transformation. Each piece I create is layered with intention—meant to feel both bold and tender, playful and powerful.

Through color, texture, and symbolism, my hope is to spark a sense of recognition—something familiar yet newly seen. I invite you to explore my work, linger with what speaks to you, and discover the stories woven into each piece. If something resonates, I’d love to connect and continue the conversation.

Meet The Artist

Cosette Grider is a mixed media artist based in Burbank, California, where she lives with her husband of 16 years, their 13-year-old son, an aging cat, and a playful dog. After more than 30 years of drawing and painting as a passion, she made the leap into a full-time art career in 2020—during a period of global uncertainty and profound personal transformation.

Prior to that, Cosette spent 14 years as a CAD artist in the fashion industry, quietly feeling the pull toward a more purposeful creative life. Through therapy, life coaching, continued art education, and the impact of a sudden family loss, she chose to trust her intuition and fully step into her artistic calling. Creating meaningful work that connects emotionally with others—often bringing happy tears—has become the most fulfilling expression of her gifts.

Her work is a dialogue exploring womanhood, vulnerability, beauty, freedom, and transformation. Inspired by iconic figures, nature, and emotional landscapes, Cosette uses bold color, layered mixed media, and symbolic elements to invite viewers beneath the surface. Each piece creates space for reflection, curiosity, and growth—transforming what we often hide into something expressive, powerful, and free.
