This mixed media collection dives into our own transformation ("shedding of the skin"). With its retro aesthetic and appeal, the bold and bright colors, textures, and patterns create movement and playfulness. The curves of the snake evoke a sense of sensuality and mystery.  The mix of detailed hand sketching with graphite pencil and the richness of paint is to point out that life is never just black or white.  We possess opposing forces inside us that challenge us to  question, wonder, become curious, explore, and transform.
